epunkt is the market leader in recruiting specialists and executives, with four locations in Austria—Linz, Graz, Vienna, and Salzburg. More than 270 employees work tirelessly every day to find the right role for every individual. In addition to its strength in the IT sector, epunkt has diversified since its founding in 2000 and, in addition to IT specialists, places candidates in leadership positions in the fields of mechanical engineering, technology, industry, and business. Since 2021, the knowledge of how recruiting works has been shared with HR employees in the areas of recruiting and active sourcing at the Recruiting Campus in cooperation with the WU Executive Academy.

The Challenge: Data Privacy as a Full-Time Job

Recruiting requires comprehensive tracking of data processing activities and transparent data flows. For Alexander Dressler, Data Protection Manager at epunkt, protecting this data is the most important asset. However, the previous manual tracking in Excel spreadsheets was inefficient and hindered collaboration between the subsidiaries Talentor Austria and Talentor International.
