“Data privacy is a fascinating topic that has grown immensely in importance in recent years,” notes Sabine Konrad, Head of Legal at Anyline. “Awareness is steadily increasing. The Need for ISO 27001 Certification
One of the main reasons for Anyline’s decision in favor of the ACC was the need for ISO 27001 certification. According to David Rieger, the ACC modules were utilized and further expanded for this purpose. “The use of a tool like the ACC depends on a company’s level of maturity.
“If, as is the case at Anyline, there is no internal data protection officer responsible for this important issue, the ACC proves to be extremely helpful.”
Anyline is a “Cloud First Company,” David Rieger continues. This is why the decision to adopt a cloud solution, such as the one offered by the ACC, was the only viable option. Sabine Konrad adds: “Precisely because we have an external data protection officer, it’s ideal that multiple stakeholders can access the cloud.” In this regard, the ACC delivers a significant increase in efficiency because multiple people can work in it simultaneously. The templates in the ACC Manager are designed to be ideally suited for standard processing activities.
Collaboration with AKARION’s support team runs smoothly, says Sabine Konrad. This applies particularly to risk management, adds David Rieger. In this regard, every company uses slightly different calculation methods, which can be implemented in the AKARION GRC Cloud. Here, too, the support of the AKARION team is reliable. The instructional videos are also found to be very helpful.
